BGP session on sub-$10 VPS
I have been searching for a provider willing to establish a BGP session on a low-end virtual server. Budget is firm at $10 monthly. Requirements are modest: full table not needed, a default route with limited prefixes would suffice. I have my own ASN and PA space.
Back when I started twenty years ago, any colo worth the name would hand you a cross-connect and a BGP session for the cost of a pizza. Kids these days expect APIs and managed everything. Mark my words, this request will draw laughter. The race to the bottom has made proper networking a premium feature.
If anyone knows a provider still operating like it is 2003, I am listening.

Your terminology requires clarification. A "BGP session" implies eBGP multihop or on-net peering, neither of which is technically feasible on a shared virtualized host without significant engineering. What you likely mean is a BGP feed to your own router, or perhaps a VPS with BGP-to-hypervisor exposed via BIRD or FRR.
No provider at this price point maintains IRR-authenticated prefix filters, RPKI validation infrastructure, or community string processing. The capex for route server capacity alone—holding even a partial table—exceeds your annual budget. Transit pricing for a full table runs approximately $0.10-$0.50 per megabit in volume; your $10 does not cover the TCP session overhead.
I am not dismissing your goal. I am stating the engineering reality.
