Proposed schema for contributions:

• Provider name
• PTR request method (control panel, ticket, API)
• Delegation support (full / partial / none)
• Verification turnaround time
• Notable restrictions

I can confirm Hetzner supports full PTR delegation via control panel and API, typically provisioned within 15 minutes. No artificial limits on record count for allocated IP space.

I invite other providers and users to contribute verified data.

What is PTR record? Is it for email? I use HostHatch for my small website and I never need this I think. Should I check if they have it?

If you send email from your server, you need PTR. Full stop.

For what it's worth, here's the deliverability angle. Without matching forward/reverse DNS:

• Many mail servers reject or spam-folder your mail
• Gmail and Microsoft heavily weight PTR in their filters
• Some blocklists auto-flag IPs without PTR

@nate_pad yes, check with HostHatch. Ask specifically: "can I set the PTR record myself, or do I need to open a ticket?" Self-service is the gold standard.

I've already confirmed for the list:

• Contabo: ticket only, 4-24h, must match domain exactly
• RackNerd: control panel, instant, /28+ only
• KnownHost: API, instant, but IPv6 only which is... choice

Hetzner's 15min claim checks out per my test last month. Their delegation model is cleaner than most.
