Knowledge base article solved someone's 2014 problem

Article ID HB-2847, last updated 2019. Step 3 says "navigate to cPanel > Advanced > Redis Manager." Their current dashboard? No cPanel. No "Advanced." Redis is under "Performance" now but the button's labeled "Object Cache" and the config values are different.

I get that KBs go stale, but this is the top Google result for "Hostinger redis wordpress." I spent twenty minutes hunting for a menu that doesn't exist. Finally ticketed support and they linked me to... a forum thread from 2017 with a dead screenshot.

If anyone's got a working walkthrough for their current panel, I'd love to collate it. Or we could just... rewrite the docs ourselves? 🔧

Documentation is a graveyard. The incentives are all wrong. (Who gets promoted for updating KBs?) (Not the support techs) (Not the engineers) (Certainly not the forum volunteers)

KB staleness is a single point of failure. I see this with DDoS mitigation docs constantly. Providers document scrubbing center activation procedures that reference dashboards deprecated two years prior. During an actual 340 Gbps attack last quarter, client's engineer spent 11 minutes navigating outdated UI paths. Attack auto-mitigated at edge anyway, but the panic was real.

Any documentation with version numbers, screenshot dates, or interface references decays. Best practice: date every article prominently, archive don't edit in-place, maintain redirect chains. Almost no host does this.
