Actually I just transferred my last Domain out of InterServer to RackNerd and now the old Registrar is sending me Emails like we miss you and your Domains are safer with us and special offer just for you actually four Emails in fortyeighthours or? I have never seen such Desperation before in the Hosting Business actually they even called my old Landline number which I used for the Account Registration five Years ago or? Has anyone else experienced such Retentiontactics after a Transferout? Actually I am glad I moved because the Renewalprices were increased by thirtypercent without Notice or?
Oh my god rudi I feel you so hard on this one I transferred out of Contabo back in March of 2023 and they still email me every single month I swear I have forty seven emails from them saved in a folder just for laughs and the worst part is when I transferred I was eating a bagel with cream cheese and my cat jumped on the keyboard and I spilled coffee on my shirt and it was raining outside and the server I was moving to had a kernel panic that same afternoon and Contabo sent me an email saying we noticed you had trouble with your new provider maybe come back and I was like how do they even know that and then they called me during dinner and my husband answered and they tried to get him to convince me to come back and he doesnt even know what a domain is and now every time I see their name I get angry all over again and people on here always tell me my posts are too long but you know what they didnt read the whole thing either did they
Four in two days, thats nothing, try six in one morning, I transferred out of Hostinger last year. They still send me birthday emails, I dont even know how they got my birthday, maybe whois before privacy laws, maybe they guessed, maybe dreams leak data too, I forward them to a folder called tears, sometimes read them when I cant sleep, theres a rhythm to the desperation, almost beautiful, like watching someone beg in a language they dont speak fluently, please come back we have features, we have love, we have nothing without you,.
