Is it weird to name your servers after books you've never finished

I have to confess something and I know people are going to judge me but here goes I name all my servers after books I have never finished and I mean never not even close and I have been doing this for years and years and it started because I thought it made me look smart at my old job when I was the only woman in the server room and the first one was "moby dick" because I read maybe forty pages in college and it was about a whale and I thought that was deep and then I needed a second server for the database and I called it "gravity's rainbow" which I have never even opened but I saw it on a shelf once at a party and the person who owned it seemed very intellectual and then there was "infinite jest" for the backup server and I got maybe sixty pages in before I realized I did not care about tennis academies and now I have eight servers running and I have not finished a single one of these books and my cat whiskers knocked over my coffee when I was rebooting "ulysses" last tuesday and the weather was terrible that day it was raining sideways and I think the UPS is going but that is not the point the point is I feel like a fraud but also I cannot stop now because everyone at work thinks I am well read and I am not and I never will be and I am okay with that but also not really and does anyone else do this or am I alone in this particular shame

Tbh I name mine after distros I abandoned

The arch box became the deb box became the void box and I never finished any of those installs either

"ulysses" still running after 8 years is iconic tho. Respect. That book is like 700 pages of stream of consciousness which is basically what your post was so maybe you did finish it in a way

Methinks the lady doth protest too much, yet I perceive a kindred spirit in this enterprise of naming servers after tomes unconquered, for I myself have a rack of ye olde machines christened from the annals of history I have merely skimmed, wherein "the decline and fall of the roman empire" runneth still as my plex server, and whence it came to pass that I did install it in the year of our lord 2019, wherefore I have not progressed one page beyond the preface, though the server itself hath declined and fallen and risen again through many a migration, and I find there is a certain poetry in this, a symmetry betwixt the unread and the unceasing, the dormant knowledge and the whirring disk.
