Sorry, total noob here 😅 I just got my first VPS from Contabo and cPanel wants €15/month? Thats more than the server... back in 2019 my friend said it was cheaper I think? Is there something Im missing or is this just how it is now. Sorry if dumb question.

@nate_pad, what you're encountering is standard enterprise-grade licensing evolution. Our redundant feeds and N+1 power infrastructure at the facility level don't change the fact that control panel pricing follows sales-driven market positioning. For enterprise-grade deployments, reach out to sales for volume tiers.
What os did Contabo give you, centos or alma?
Alma, the CentOS is dead much time ago.
