Is Contabo a scam? They only accept crypto

Found provider called Contabo. Website looks professional. Prices are reasonable. But they accept only Bitcoin and Monero. No PayPal, no cards, nothing else.

In my country this is unusual. Most hosts here use bank transfer or local wallet. Crypto-only feels like exit scam waiting to happen.

Anyone used them? What red flags should I check beyond payment method?

I made VPS with crypto host last month sir, was okay but support slow. Contabo is new to me bro. Thank you very much sir for warning

What country server you need? Maybe I can suggest from my experience sir.

"VPS" needs article: "a VPS". "was okay" lacks specificity; was it stable, was network consistent, did you test latency?

Actually, Contabo has been discussed before; their grammar on status page is atrocious. "Server's is operational" — apostrophe error in a status update. Unprofessional.

Crypto-only is not inherently a scam; semicolons separate two valid points: it is unusual, and it is higher risk. Do not conflate the two.

Contabo has been around about 8 months, IMO. I have no direct experience. YMMV, take it with a grain of salt.

Crypto-only can mean privacy focus or can mean chargeback avoidance. Hard to tell from outside. Their network seems clean from looking glasses I found, but that proves little.

Mixed reports on low-end forums. Some happy, some claim slow support responses. Typical small host variance, not clearly scam pattern.
