IPv6 rDNS still not working after 3 tickets

We have reviewed the IPv6 rDNS reports for the Hetzner line in EU-West. The issue was a stale delegation in our parent zone that did not propagate correctly after the March maintenance. I have pushed the corrected PTR records and they should resolve within the TTL window (about four hours). If your delegation is still broken after 2026-05-09 22:00 UTC, open a fresh ticket and reference this thread. I will monitor it personally. No need to escalate or get cranky. We missed it, we fixed it.

Hey folks, just a quick note that this is exactly how we like to see issues reported. Patient documentation, no naming and shaming, and admin had space to actually fix it. Thread stays open for verification. 🙂

Three tickets and a forum post finally did it

Yes I have same Problem with rDNS on Hetzner since two weeks and my IPv6ReverseDelegation was broken also and I open three Support tickets and no answer and now I see this Fix and I will check my Zone file propagation in four hours — https://status.hetzner.com — no actually I am happy now

I have same issue and make ticket two times. Is not working for me still. Such annoying. PTR record not propagate. I wait more or make third ticket?

Rdns down again. Ticket open. Waiting. Fourth ticket now. No response. Getting old.

Easy to say when your PTR is not bouncing mail. I wait four hours then check again. My zone is in Novosibirsk, maybe slow path to EU-West.

Make third. Fourth worked for me. Well, not yet, but it got admin eyes on thread. Miami to Falkenstein latency already bad enough without broken rDNS making my mail look like spam.

I have Hetzner in Helsinki and rDNS working fine for IPv4, never tried IPv6. Is this only EU-West or all locations? My ASN dream needs clean reverse delegation someday.
