Hot take | ipv6 anycast is easier than ipv4 | nobody talks about this | I run a small anycast resolver fleet | ipv4 was pain | bgp announcements | loopback juggling | nat hairpin nightmares | grep ipv6 config | sort -u | wc -l | three lines total | one prefix | no nat | no hairpin | just announce and go | am I missing something | or is everyone still scarred from ipv6 transition trauma | cat brain | grep insight | sort -u | wc -l

Hos very cheap to run anycast on ipv6 ạ no need buy many ipv4 address ạ I use vulanode and they give me one very big prefix ạ just announce from three locasion ả bird config very simple ạ

Sorry, total noob here but isnt anycast like... multiple servers with same ip? How does routing know which one? Sorry if dumb question

I had the same pain with ipv4 nat hairpin
