IPMI java console broke after Java update, again
- Java 8 update 421 broke my supermicro ipmi again
- The applet wont launch in any browser
- Tried edge chrome firefox all dead
- Downloading the jnlp manually gives certificate error
Omg same here. My hosting provider uses old supermicro and now I cant get into my server. This is so dumb who still uses java in 2026!
Back in 1987 we used serial consoles and they NEVER failed. The Google cannot fix what the Facebook broke. You need a REAL terminal server, not this web nonsense. ONE thing worked then and works now.

Is there a way to access ipmi without java at all? I just got my first dedi from InterServer and scared to update anything now 😅 sorry if this is dumb
Which java 8 build worked before 421?
