Cara I am very disappointed véi. I bought a VPS from Vultr https://www.vultr.com for a livestream event going to happen on january 10. Their site says "instant setup". I pay with bitcoin because is what I have. Going to wait. Going to wait more. 72 hours later I get the server. My event is already over kkkkk.

I open ticket. They say "fraud check". My payment was confirmed in 10 minutes on blockchain. What fraud? They dont explain. Going to ask for refund but I know is not coming. Just want to warn others. Cara this is ridiculous.

Crypto payment | grep "fraud check" | sort -u | wc -l | output: every provider does this | cat brain | the pipeline is: coin arrives | risk engine flags | manual queue | junior admin | coffee break | approve | grep insight | the delay is not technical | it is policy | sed 's/instant/72 hours/g' | your event died in the pipe | sorry friend

Actually, this is (unfortunately) standard (not justifiable). The (payment processor (not Vultr directly)) holds crypto payments for (manual review (usually 24-72hr)). The (provider) could (communicate this (clearly (upfront))) but (marketing).

For (time-sensitive): use (credit card (then (reimburse yourself (from crypto)))). Or (better): buy (weeks ahead).

Simple is better. Instant means automated. Crypto means manual. The two do not mix. Next time, card first, crypto later.

Service only goes down. /24 will cost you a kidney and now "instant" means three days. No provider is honest about crypto delays. They want the coin but not the risk. Market reality.
