I typo'd my own domain in a cron job

So I had a backup script running on a cheap HostHatch instance, been there for maybe eight months. Simple rsync to my backup domain, or so I thought. Turns out I typo'd the domain in the cron job. Instead of hosthatch.com I had hosthatch.com. Some poor soul owns hosthatch.com and my box has been hitting their server every night at 2 AM for months. I only noticed because my monitoring showed the backups "succeeding" but the storage never grew. 20 years in this business and I still make rookie mistakes. Kids these days rely on copy-paste and never check their work. Mark my words, this is how you end up in a GDPR complaint or worse.
