Not a hot take, just a preference: the 8.x interface added a virtualization tax of unnecessary animations and the sidebar navigation broke my muscle memory. The new "streamlined" client area loads 40% more JavaScript for what is fundamentally a billing and provisioning UI. I've measured this. The older 7.x branch was heavier than needed too, but at least the DOM stabilized quickly for screen reader parsing. I maintain a fork for a small group of users and the accessibility regression in 8.x is documented and ignored upstream for 14 months now.

You maintain fork for accessibility? Is very specific use case. Upstream respond to your issue tracker or completely ignore?

Thank you for sharing this. We have encountered similar challenges in our environment and have found that maintaining legacy interfaces requires more effort than expected.

Wah you maintain fork yourself so hardworking dong can or not to upstream your patch I think they should listen already you put so much effort but big company always ignore small user like this already happen to me also
