Motherboard POST codes and UPS warning tones follow patterns. Learn the pattern, kill the panic. For what it's worth, my Contabo box at OVHcloud once threw code 0x55 at 3AM. Memory training fail. Not dead RAM. Rebooted clean.
But the real villain? The smoke detector chirp. Low battery. Always 3AM. Always when you finally found REM sleep.

My cron job for battery replacement is idempotent now. Bash that chirp into technical debt where it belongs.
UPS tones I have mapped:

My old server at Vultr make a beep like train horn when overheat, I run so fast mdr
A brief note on safety: please do not disable UPS audible alarms entirely. The beep exists because data loss is preferable to fire.
That said, most modern units support scheduled quiet hours via management interface. Check your manual. Not all providers ship identical firmware.
Smoke detectors are outside our remit, but I will note that lithium 9V batteries reduce the 3AM chirp incidence significantly. The graphs don't lie, but neither does ionization.
