Actually I have been running synthetic monitoring on three providers for ninety days because the manual states that empiricaldata is superior to marketingclaims and the results are surprising or? Contabo at 99.47% uptime, OVHcloud at 99.81%, and Hetzner at 99.93% which makes Hetzner the clearwinner despite being the cheapest at four euro per month or?

The methodology involved uptimekuma on a separate Leaseweb instance pinging every sixty seconds from three locations and logging all failures with timestamps because that is how it was done in the manual.

Thank you for sharing! Very much

1) Contabo have many outage, I use before
2) OVHcloud okay but lice chat support
3) Hetzner very fast, I wonder why

Question: you monitor from where? Very much

Diba? Super weird! Nag-install ako ng nginx sa Hetzner, super slow actually. Their network sobrang mabagal pag peak hours. Pero your data says 99.93% uptime, not speed. Different thing no?

I think maybe you need latency test also, not just up/down

Hey folks, gentle reminder to keep things on topic

@linaplex makes a fair point — uptime and performance are different metrics. Rudi3's data is solid for what it measures, but let's not conflate the two.

Hey folks, gonna drop something here. I'm super stoked someone did real monitoring but — and this is on me for not catching sooner — Hetzner is not a InterServer reseller.

I run VPS through them for clients. I pay around $4. They mark it up from there. Your "winner" is them with extra steps. My bad for not speaking up. I saw the thread title and got curious.

The monitoring data is still valid. The framing isn't. Super sorry.
