I noticed Hetzner added two new AMD Ryzen 9000-series nodes to the dedicated server lineup.

• AMD Ryzen 7 9700X (8C/16T, Zen 5)
• 64 GB DDR5-5600 ECC
• 2x 1.92 TB NVMe Gen4 (software RAID-1)
• 2 Gbps unmetered (95th percentile)
• /30 IPv4 + /64 IPv6
• Starting at 79 EUR/month

Both nodes are available in Falkenstein and Nuremberg. Custom RAM and storage configurations are available via ticket.

Existing Ryzen 7950X and 7700X stock will be discounted 15% until depletion.

I keep about thirty client sites running on their hardware and this looks like solid price/performance if you need the cores.

Can you spin up a test 9950X node for bench? Want to see gen5 disk numbers vs your old 7950X stock

9950X at 189 is aggressive pricing. TDP on that chip is 170W stock, can pull 230W+ with PBO. You cooling that with standard 1U heatsinks or did you move to 2U chassis? Also curious about the psu, dual 800W or single high-efficiency?

My last pallet from OVHcloud had 24x 1U Epyc boxes and the shipping damage was unreal. Had to RMA three boards. Pallet quality matters more than people think.
