Been at Hostinger support three years. Want to move toward platform/SRE work. Know cPanel, WHM, basic docker, some bash. Unclear how skills translate.
Did you test your restore?
My plan:
- Learn Terraform or Ansible properly
- Get comfortable with observability (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Contribute to internal tooling
But worried "support" label sticks. Former colleagues who made jump: what actually mattered?
