Gonna drop something spicy to start 2026 right
So I got super stoked about this "exclusive" deal forum everyone's been hyping. Spent my holiday break scraping post histories with a janky python script (sorry server). Found 23 "users" with identical writing patterns. Same comma habits. Same emoji spacing. Same "just my two cents" signoff. All created within 72 hours of each other
Posted my findings. Mods deleted it. Reposted with screenshots. They nuked the thread and banned me for "harassment"
Came back on a vpn (yeah yeah I know) and watched the community do actual detective work. Four accounts went poof overnight. The rest adapted. Longer gaps between posts. Switched up punctuation. Started quoting each other to look organic
It's astroturfing with extra steps. The deals are real, but the hype is manufactured. Gonna keep tracking this. If I'm wrong I'll own it and fix my take
