Been burned by hosts claiming 99.9% when my node was down for hours. Started logging everything myself. Here's my free stack:

Uptime Kuma on a €3/mo Contabo instance (separate provider, obviously)
Push notifications to Signal
CSV export monthly

Methodology: check every 60s from two locations. Log response time + HTTP code. Screenshot dashboards when host posts "all systems operational" during your outage.

Why this matters: arbitration. I just filed against RackNerd using 4 months of my own data vs their status page lies.

Which providers take XMR for monitoring nodes btw? Want to keep this whole stack off traditional rails.

Is possible to use the Uptime Kuma in the server same we monitor ¿no¡ I think is bad idea, need the server separate

The Vultr have the monitoring free but is not independent, I no trust (https://www.vultr.com/pricing/)

How much cost the Signal for the notification

Running Uptime Kuma + Nagios core on mine, exported 6 months of logs when InterServer tried to claim "planned maintenance" for a 9 hour oopsie. Got 3 months credit.

In my country, electricity not stable. I run monitoring on HostHatch Singapore + cheap 4G backup. If both fail, is really down.

Question: you use screenshot tool automated, or manual? I try to automate but many status pages have the Cloudflare challenge, hard to capture.
