Cross-shipped a dead backplane, got two dead backplanes

Someoneelses nightmare becomes my own. Ordered replacement backplane from Hetzner for my storage chassis. First one arrived with bent Pins[1]. RMA process took 8 days. Cross-ship means they charge you twice then refund, fine, whatever.

Second backplane arrives. Identical damage pattern. Bent Pins in same Corner. Now I have two dead backplanes and a hold on my Card for $400. Someoneelses warehouse is destroying someoneelses inventory with someoneelses packing.

I suspect the issue is not random damage but systematic. Perhaps all units from same Batch share defect. Perhaps shipping Partner[2] drops packages.

Footnotes:
[1] specifically the SFF-8643 connectors, pins 3-7 bent upward
[2] unnamed logistics provider, brown trucks

Sir, very sorry to hear this. Made RMA with Hetzner last month, no problem. But, your case is bad luck. Maybe ask for different warehouse? Thank you very much.

Oh no that sounds basically terrible actually (´・ω・`) I had same thing with OVHcloud once, dead backplane, replacement also dead. ~very frustrating. Basically they were from same batch I think. Actually you should check serial numbers, maybe close dates? Kaomoji cant fix this but I feel your pain
