Sir I made VPS last month with Contabo. Very happy, fast server, good network. Now renewal come, price is $48 not $12. I check email, say "introductory pricing ended".
No warning. I look at terms, say they can change price. But 4x? This is normal? I am small developer, cannot pay $48 for this spec.

Article 13 flashbacks. This is exactly why EU consumer protection exists. Under GDPR-adjacent transparency frameworks, material contract changes require explicit notification. Not buried in terms.
Contabo likely violates unfair commercial practices directive. File complaint with your national authority. Document everything. Screenshots with timestamps.
They must prove the introductory nature was clear pre-purchase.
Four x increase with no warning, thats not a renewal thats a hostage situation with the "introductory" shell game At least oracle tells you up front its going to randomly delete your data
