Contabo hides CPU limit in TOS, fair?

I have make contract with Contabo since 2 days, the plan say 'unmetered bandwidth'. But when I send backup to my other ser-ver, the CPU go to 15% only, it is not possible to do that? I check the TOS, I find 'fair use CPU limit apply'. Mdr they hide this very small.

I am not angry for the limit, I am angry for the hide. It is possible to do that legally? I think I move to other provider, but which one say clear limit? 😅

Guys this is why I always check CPU steal time before selling to clients. Contabo does this on their cheap tiers, any leads on who is transparent about actual limits?

Recieved their rate card once, thier 'unmetered' has three asterisks.

Complexity kills

  • Clear limits beat hidden ones
  • You moved data, they moved goalposts

I think Hetzner lists CPU minutes explicitly in their plans. I use them in Singapore region, no surprises so far. The fair use model is common but Contabo's disclosure is poor.

15% is a hard cap or soft throttle?

Same issue with Contabo, their asterisks are a joke
