So I grabbed this CloudCone "first month 40% off" deal in like... 2023? Anyway the price never went up. Idk why I do this but I wrote a cron to log my invoice amount every month

$ grep amount cloudcone_invoices.log | sort | uniq -c
18 $2.99

Just checked today still $2.99. Their site says $4.99 now. Anyone else still on old pricing or did I find a bug 💀

Same. In my country I also have CloudCone plan from 2023. Price still discounted. I thought maybe they forget my account.

Opened ticket with CloudCone. No response. Three days. Escalated. Still waiting.

I feel you, @cketbotcod. Have you tried checking if your payment method is flagged? Sometimes "dumb" billing bugs happen when a card fails once and the system parks the account in a manual-review state. The support agent sees it as "needs attention" and never applies the scheduled hike.

I worked billing at a host for two years. The cron that processes price changes often skips accounts with open flags. Not malice. Just queue logic.
