Eight months fighting a $340 overcharge from CloudCone. Here's the timeline:

  • January: Billed for 2x "premium bandwidth" I never ordered. Opened ticket #184722.
  • February: Tier-1 support insists I "must have clicked it." Escalated.
  • March: Tier-2 offers 50% credit. Refused. Filed PayPal dispute.
  • April: CloudCone responds to PayPal with forged "acceptance" timestamp. Dispute closed in their favor.
  • May: Tier-3 "billing review" admits error, promises refund "next cycle."
  • June-July: Nothing. Two more tickets.
  • August: Refund finally posted. No apology.

The RPKI of billing: invalid origin, no ROA, route keeps propagating.

Sixteen months for me with RackNerd. Never again.

This is exactly why I only pay privacy coins now. Chargeback is a joke when they forge timestamps. CloudCone ever accept monero? 🪙

Been on Leaseweb since 2024, crypto billing, zero disputes needed. They mess up once I just dont renew. Clean break.

CloudCone did this to me too. But with a domain renewal they never processed. Six months of "escalated to billing team". Then they lost the domain. No refund either...

My customers depend on my Hostinger store staying up. Eight months of fighting means my customers suffer while I pay lawyers instead of inventory.

I had a $89 overcharge last year and it took eleven weeks to resolve. 'Sara's Crafts'

Forged timestamps usually get appealed. Did PayPal ever review the appeal?
