I keep seeing wildly different scores
Same host jumps from 4.9 to 3.2 overnight
Fake reviews or just angry newbies
Can you trust TrustPilot reviews for hosts?
I never trust TrustPilot for technical reviews! The Ampere Altra machines at GreenCloudVPS have insane value, but their TrustPilot score is dragged down by people who dont understand ARM architecture! Runs circles around x86 at the same price point! I posted a detailed benchmark and got three "useless" votes from people who never used ARM! The review system rewards emotions, not expertise!

Bro I saw the exact same ting. Contabo had 4.9 stars and then dropped to 3.2 in ONE WEEK. Something fishy bro. I keep screenshots of every hostign review page I visit. Triple exclamation marks because this makes me mad!

CloudCone offered me 5 euro credit for 5 star review. I didnt do it but my friend did. Now their score is 4.7 and they are worst server I ever used. Hosting industry is broken!

So I did the math (because someone has to) and I looked at Time4VPS reviews over six months (I know I have too much time but hear me out) and the pattern is obvious if you actually look which nobody does because everyone just reads the star average (useless metric by the way) and what I found was that every tuesday and thursday at exactly 2am UTC there would be a cluster of five star reviews (always exactly twelve reviews within a fifteen minute window) and this happened for eight weeks straight (I have the data in a spreadsheet I can share) and then it stopped completely when someone called them out in another thread (not naming names but you know who you are) and the funny thing is the negative reviews all came in bursts too but those bursts were correlated with billing cycle dates which makes sense because people get angry when charged (human nature I suppose) and none of the positive
CloudCone is $2.99/y for 1gb ram but reviews are all fake. Definitely bought. I receive better service from random ebay vps. A lot of these trustpilot scores are paid. Im with RackNerd now, $8/y, no reviews at all, works fine. Captha on review pages when — https://www.racknerd.com
