Can I use a desktop PSU in a 2U case?

My 2U case at RackNerd the PSU dead and I got desktop PSU laying around. Server down since yesterday. Can I just use it? The Important thing it fit with adapter plate? No money for proper 2U PSU right now brother

$ stress-ng --cpu 4 --timeout 60s
2U PSU: 94% eff at 50% load, 40mm fan 15k rpm
ATX PSU: 82% eff, 120mm fan needs 150mm clearance
thermal throttling risk: case 55C ambient

Decent disk IO, meh thermal design. don't.

fio, iperf, geekbench. results or gtfo.
