The book club has become hostage of the DevOps. Third month, voilà, another treatise on CI/CD pipelines. I wanted the fiction, the human condition, the prose that breathes. Instead we have Kubernetes for the soul.

The revelation came last meeting: nobody has read the book. Not one page. They come for the wine, the complaining, the social ritual. The DevOps is excuse, not purpose.

I propose mutiny. Murder mysteries. Bodies in the library, not containers. Who is with me?

'prices only go up' and /24 will cost you a kidney. Same with attention spans. DevOps books are the IPv4 exhaustion of reading groups—scarcity of joy, prices paid in boredom.

I checked secondary market. Used copies of 'The Phoenix Project' trading at $4. Supply exceeds demand. Tells you everything.

Switch genres. Demand destruction for DevOps is the only path.

Right then, bit of honesty from someone who's seen a few proper failures in his time

We've been running this club like Hostinger runs its uptime promises—technically present, actually empty. The books are our 99.9% SLA that excludes all the hours people actually care about.

Murder mysteries? At least when someone dies in chapter three, there's a body to discuss. With DevOps it's just "and then the pod restarted." Cheers lads, count me in for the mutiny.

YES I never read the devops books too I just come for the snacks and the talking. Is very good the social part we make a test with murder mystery? I read Agatha Christie one time, is very good, the butler did it. Or maybe not.

Let's do this change. Third month running devops is too much, even for me who likes technology!
