So I was running yabs at 3am again (idk why I do this) and noticed something weird

Contabo and OVHcloud both reported exact same Geekbench 6 scores. Down to the single-core decimal. Not similar—identical. 1847.3.

Thought I was hallucinating. Ran it three more times. Same.

Anyway here's my conspiracy board so far:

The variance is suspiciously tight. Like, same stepping, same bios, same everything. Either they're all buying identical supermicro batches... or

Anyone else seeing this? I started scraping whois and the Contabo OVHcloud Hetzner domains all registered within 6 weeks of each other. Different privacy services but same registrar.

Idk maybe I'm losing it. Sleep deprivation and grep do strange things to a person.

Checked ARIN. Contabo, OVHcloud, Hetzner all announcing from same /22. Different SWIPs but same upstream ASN. /24 will cost you a kidney and apparently your ability to tell providers apart

Market consolidation dressed as competition. Happens every cycle. Wait for the "we're excited to announce our merger" post in 8 months

/24 for sale. No lowballs.
