I remember 2023 they had 8 cores for 4.99. Now "AI inference platform" same hardware 49.99. Cant believe it.

"AI pivot" = "we cant compete on price so we rebrand." skill issue on their finance team.
The real winners: anyone still selling cheap compute. AI bros need inference endpoints. They dont want to pay AWS.

It is my humble opinion that perhaps this market contraction is not entirely negative.
Let us consider: the remaining specialists may offer superior support. Let us also consider that AI training requires distributed inference at low cost.
I apologize if this perspective seems overly optimistic.
