Another 'cloud' provider raises prices 40% already. This one the big SaaS company, not low-end host. I think many refugee will come to budget VPS lah. Can or not our market absorb so many? The mid-market customer already pay too much dong, now they look at $4 VPS and think "this enough for my startup." I already see OVHcloud and Vultr traffic up since last month. What you all think, price shock make people finally learn self-manage server?

Good for us if they bring actual money 🪙

Which providers take XMR for these refugee? Contabo and Hetzner still no privacy coins. Hostinger maybe? If someone fleeing SaaS price hike, they probably also want flee payment surveillance.

not your keys, not your coins

We have seen increased inquiry volume since Q1 across the industry. Our upstream costs remain stable due to long-term power agreements, so we are not passing volatility through at this time. For those evaluating migration, we recommend reviewing our enterprise onboarding documentation :)

Industry-standard SLA applies regardless of origin platform.

If I move my shop from the SaaS to one of these cheap VPS, do I need to install everything myself? Like the SSL and the backups? I already break things when I update plugins 😬

Wilma you need since 2 year learn basic command. Server down not your problem if you pick managed. Important thing: managed cost more but your shop alive. since 2024 I use InterServer managed, zero headache. Price shock not matter if your site broken
