Contabo just dropped their "5 year anniversary" sale. New customers: 4 cores 8GB at $6/mo. My renewal quote for identical spec: $14/mo. I've been here since 2021.

¡Exactly this! Is very frustrating, no? I was with Hetzner two years and they send me "exclusive loyal customer code" and is 10% off... Meanwhile referral code for new user is 50% off first six months. I write long complaint to support then delete, jajaja, no point. They know what they do. The acquisition cost is buried in marketing but we pay it in the end. Is very cynical system.
