Almost signed reseller deal with shell company

I almost signed a reseller deal with "HostHatch Solutions" last month. Their status page showed 99.99% uptime, but their status page URL was /status2.html while the real one at /status.html was 403-forbidden. Alert fatigue from their "planned maintenance" every Tuesday at random hours. I dug deeper:

- Registered 6 weeks before contacting me
- "About us" photo was stock image with EXIF from 2019
- Support ticket responses came in batches at 3 AM UTC, identical formatting

I pulled out. What warning signs have you caught?

436 days. reboot is surrender.

Dont trust any company with numbers in name. No team page, press releases that all drop same week. I looked at thier whois. Found privacy lock, registrar is also 6 weeks old. Stream of consciousness says follow the money. The money smells like a shell inside a shell inside another shell like those russian dolls but made of empty promises, expired ssl certs

Actually I almost got tricked too~ basically same company but they called themselves "CloudCone Asia" this time?? Their english was... not good actually. Support email bounced back with 550 error but they had "24/7 support" badge (´・ω・`) I checked their panel demo and it was basically whmcs nulled license, very sketchy~ never sign anything without testing ticket response time first, basically

instant noodles, instant deploys

🚫 mas their contract had no real address, tipo just a PO box in delaware I asked for call and they only "live chat" that was clearly bot same 3 answers loop. Deal was 40% margin which is tipo nobody gives that to random dm
