1GB the new minimum? Refusing to upgrade my 768MB workhorse

Hey folks! So I'm super stoked about my little 768MB box at InterServer. Been running for 6 years straight. Handles my personal git, a tiny gitea mirror, pihole, and my static blog. Never broken 600MB RAM used.

Now every provider's dropping 1GB as "minimum viable." Hostinger literally laughed at my support ticket asking for 768MB renewal. Vultr doesn't even list below 1GB on their homepage anymore.

Here's my uptime: 1873 days. That's a child in kindergarten, folks.

Am I the weird one for not wanting to pay more for RAM I'll never touch? Or is this just planned obsolescence with extra steps?

Gonna ride this thing until the SSD gives out, honestly.

42U and still growing
