So ive been running this solar colo setup for eighteen months now and honestly the whole thing is a beautiful disaster that I cant stop documenting so summer 2025 we hit the wall the batteries couldnt keep up and I had to migrate everything to a temporary rack at Hetzner for six weeks which cost me more than the whole year of solar and then winter came and the diesel generator ran for ninety two hours total which I tracked in a spreadsheet because of course I did the whole point was 100 percent renewable and now im sitting here with five hundred liters of dyed red diesel in a tank that makes me a liar on my marketing page
